XMastime for
the Jews: This Saturday Night
Live video appeared in December 2005, and shows up in reruns about twice a
year. It’s priceless and absolutely hilarious. I’ve even got the
fully-corrected lyrics.

Shameless Plug for Angel Flight
During my active
recreational flying phase (2004-2006), I was one the busiest volunteer pilots
for Angel Flight, logging over 160
missions.
I stopped flying in
September 2006, but that has not decreased my admiration for this
organization’s work: it provides free air transportation to patients and
their families needing medical treatment whose financial resources would not
otherwise enable them to receive care, including patients awaiting organ
transplants or patients living in rural areas without access to commercial
airlines.
